Nitel's SD-WAN and SD-Security Available to Channel Partners and Corporations

Demand for Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) is increasing the number of vendors in the market place, with many of them establishing their services within the past year. Nitel, a nationwide managed telecom service provider, is one of those companies and it has improved its offering by making its SD-WAN and SD-Security available to channel partners and corporations as more organization deploy the technology to bring all of their locations together.


Using its interconnected network platform, which is the largest in North America, Nitel provides a range of IT services, including MPLS, SD-WAN, Internet, wireless, SIP trunking, private cloud connection, next generation firewall and unified threat protection to multi-national enterprises. The interconnected network capacity of Nitel gives the company an infrastructure that is very well suited to leverage all of the features of SD-WAN.

The new SD security solution is being offered in collaboration with Versa Networks for mid-market to large enterprises with an application-centric management, network reliability and optimized performance using the global managed public and private WAN services of Nitel.

As part of this new drive to bring in more channel partners and corporations, Nitel has a try before you buy program that is going to give customers a 90-day SD-WAN test drive at no charge. The company says this will give channel partners and their customers access to all of the features, including its ease of use and analytics at no risk.

Nitel is providing full support, including up to three edge devices, configuration and activation of devices on the customers’ existing Internet circuits, use of the Web portal that provides access to utilization and performance reporting. This offer also extends to access to no-cost, on-demand and live training opportunities to strengthen partners’ effectiveness in selling SD-WAN. When channel partners are ready, they can use the Nitel n-Tellipro advanced quoting tool, which can generate instant quotes for multi-location opportunities across multiple product types, including the SD-WAN and SD-Security services.
